4/4/2011 5:03:00 PMNice catch UrbanAngler. Ever since March 7 I haven't been able to get anything out of Green. Any idea why some fish appear to have scales becoming discolored? I've caught some rainbows that had seemingly perfect skin in Green Lake, but some others, like the one in the pic above, seem to be losing scales. Might be an indication of overall water quality or fish health? Maybe that's part of the normal life cycle.

4/4/2011 8:07:00 PMI think your talking about the hand launch/unlaunching parking space can't be parked there for over 2 hours, I think there is one on lake washington in the hand launch area by seward park too.

4/4/2011 8:41:00 PMUrban, oh yes, I do now recall those signs in the "Hand launch" area which just South of the baseball field on the East side. Those signs have been there for ever, and do not seem to hold much water. I thought for a moment that the city had placed some "New" rules into effect. I was about to go bonkers. I just like that place so much. The over run use of crew/rowing all ready ticks me off.... don't get me started.

4/7/2011 12:51:00 AMgood job! it's always rewarding to catch a fish after putting in some hard work, no matter the size or species. and i LOVE beth's cafe! bacon and eggs with toast and unlimited hashbrowns for under 10 bucks? you can NOT beat that! :D
