Today We started Fishing for laketrout in the Lower Basin of lake Chelan..We targeted depths from 180 to 240ft deep to find the hungry Laketrout!!!!
Varying my speed between 1.2 and 1.5 increased the strike until Mother Nature decided to throw me a curve with a annoying wind out of the North.
I kept the Ace Hi-Fly right next to the bottom at all times to find the biters.
The schools of Kokanee are thick and I do expect the "Koks" to start hitting once the Surface Temperature reaches 50 degrees..I like to troll a 4/0 dodger with a Mack Lure Kokanee Pro baited with Pautzke Fire Corn in Green or Pink for these Pan fried Kokanee..
