Fished from 1:30 to 4:30. Decided to try the two-pole endorsement this season out of curiosity. Trolled a variety of lures up and down the lake without any luck. After an hour I had a hit on a rapala near the surface. Nothing for a while after that then tried a small silver spoon trolled deep. Had a hit shortly after dropping it in the water. Ended up getting a total of 7 hits. Four boated and one lost at the boat. All small stockers. Quite a few people on the water and everyone I spoke to complained about it being slow.
I can't say I enjoyed having two poles in the water. Hard to troll, watch the rods, and watch where I was going due to the breeze and all at the same time. Never did have hit on the second rod that I could tell anyhow. Maybe it's better if you're still fishing with bait.
Nice to be on the water again regardless.
