Went to Ballinger around 3:45 or so. 1 regular was at the lake showing off some applet on his Iphone that predicts the best time to fish. I don't have an Iphone.... but it was interesting to see. Takes moon position, tide, temp,, day of year... and all sorts of other stuff. He said it works. Todays hot fish times was between 11a.m. - 1:30p.m. He said he got to the lake about noon and left shortly after I arrived. Said the fish were biting until about 1:45 p.m. and then it really slowed down.

No wind to report when I got there. Nice and warm (vs. freakin cold and windy like the year has been). Unlike Sunday where the fish hit if the winds stopped, today it was no fish if the wind was calm.

I lost 3 fish and was actually working this report in my head before I was going to leave. Commenting to myself and just am I'm picking up my rod to reel in the last time I finally land one. I'm about to grab the rod and suddenly fish on. Fish was returned to lake unharmed.

I'm only rating it a 2 because like an idiot I returned and caught nothing but a major chill. Otherwise it would be a 3.
