Such a gorgeous day, had to hit the lake after coming home from digging razor clams. Got there about 12:30pm. 4 guys fishing from the dock and one coming in from his boat. The guy coming in from trolling said he didn't get any, but said another guy on the lake in his boat had caught a few. Starting trolling close to shore and each of us got our first bites within 10 minutes and first fish on in about 20 mintues. Fish were surfacing all around us. Ended up with 7 fish all planters between the two of us with about 4 hits for every fish on. One of us fished with just spoons, and the other one of us fished with a spoon and powerbait. At about 2:30 pm no more fish or bites everything went dead. Can't complain with a few fish and such great weather! Finished the day off with a nice trout dinner - which tasted incredible!
