Had a fantastic day on Silver, less the fact that I didn't get a solid hook-up. I Started about 9:30 and finished about 5. I had 2 strikes trolling, and saw one tiger follow my lure from about 20' away. She followed, then hit it, and shook the hook, all in front of me. She sat there for a bit trying to figure out if she wanted to hit it again. Much to my disappointment, she swam off. Had two more follows in the afternoon, both within the span of 10 minutes, two different fish. None of the fish I saw today were very large, probably 32-37". It made for an exciting day even though I didn't put one in the boat. Water temperatures are coming up slowly. Last week they were in the 43-44 range. Today the temps were 47-48. I even hit one spot that was 50. Tigers are starting to move, time to hit the lake!
