So me and the family have taken a few trips to pond 1 lately and done real well on the planters nothing of super impressive size but fun none the less hehe we caught 25 between 8am and 1pm using different colors of power eggs from sunrise to pink to red was alot of fun, every trip we have taken to pond 1 most the time for just a few hours in the evening when i get off work we never leave without having caught 8 to 10 and that mixed with fun conversation has made for some great nights. Then a couple days ago i took my dad out in my 10ft flatbottom boat at ponds 4 and 5 wasnt a bad trip in pond 4 i had caught 5 decent trout to cook for lunch on my brown wooly bugger then we popped over to 5 to try our hands at jigging which neither of us is very good at lol but i caught a decent bass and a good size perch which was alot of fun and my dad got the smallest trout ive ever seen and a decent bass but we had a great time thanks to some tips from the jigmeister ;P we were fighting the wind the whole time and took turns getting our jigs stuck in the bushes hehe, though one time after taking the time to work my jig free it shot back and nailed me right in my package which was probably the least fun part of the trip for me but the funniest part for my dad who couldnt stop crying from laughter. But overall have been having great fun so far at the ponds this fishing season!
