Took my kids (4 of them - from 7 to 16) to Clear. Started at N. end in at about 11:30 am in about 30 ft. of water and a stones throw from the Dan's Landing docks. My 7 year old landed a 9in. stocker in 5 minutes off orange power bait, 2 ft. off the bottom. In about 30 minutes, he caught another. My other kids fished hard but very little action, couple of bites. We went to the south end, nothing and moved just north of the Airforce park in about 25 ft. of water and dropped anchor around 4pm. I caught a nice 14''er after waiting for a number of minutes. Didn't even know it was on until I decided to move the boat again and started reeling in...nothing after that, even tried some trolling.

Fun day on Clear, beautiful considering the late spring. Might have had more action if I weren't fixing poles all day but hey...that's why we take the kids - pole fixing practice!
