Had the day off so I took the kids to school and hit the lake despite the weather. On the lake at 9am off at 12pm. No electronics battery took a dive so no temps. Fished alot of different baits and lures with nothing. Moved to another spot and caught this one. Tried to weigh it and my scale is also out of batteries. Caught this fish on a strike king rage tail craw on a shaky head. Did see one other fish cruising that looked about this size. This fish did not want to move. No jumps just one roll. Real larthegic and cold. Didn`t see any beds or activity. This lake is one of the last ones in my opinion to warm up enough for the fish to spawn. Lot`s of trout jumping on the surface today. Got the skunk off my back. I forgot how difficult it was to take a decent pic by your self.
