Tried out Sprague for the first time this year. I couldn't believe how high the water is; I'm guessing it's up 3-4 feet higher than last year! I've never seen it that high! Had to use just about every lure I had to find what the fish wanted. It was a different color every half hour or so. Caught and released about 8 6in. planters and about 2 12in. trout. Wanted to catch a Lahotan Cutthroat but didn't see any. Couldn't really pinpoint the fish; but did see 13 or so trains go by! Overall it was a pretty good, beautiful day on Sprague!

There are so many fish in Sprague, and so many large ones, someone has got to start finding them soon. What is going on?

They killed it off because they said the Walleye were uncatchable, and not the trout are uncatchable as well?

??? Are the fish hiding in the closed areas of the lake???

If they were hiding in the closed areas of the lake, the trout would be about 1000 fish per square yard. LOL
I just think that there is, and always has been, so much food in Sprague. Your worm and marshmellows can't compare to real insects- IMHO. LOL
