In between packing for our wedding in Mexico this Saturday and working, I squeezed in a little Lake Union action today. I only got to fish for 45 minutes. I made this cast that just felt good. I looked where it landed and thought to myself, if I'm gunna get a fish today, this is the cast. The she hit like a bag of bricks!!!! Easily the best fighting smallie I've had the pleasure of wresteling. The best part was, she hit right after my lure got to the bottom (I don't know how deep it get's, but it was deep) and I made a darn long cast so I really got to feel her power. A girl reading near me took the photo's (thank you kind stranger who aided me while I was panting ''Holly s%$#'' over and over again). I left the F'ng scale in my trunk on accident!!!! The fish looked like a 6 pounder in the water. She felt heavier than my larige yesterday but I doubt it after looking at the photo. 2 quality fish in 2 hours worth of fishing, in 2 days... I'll take it. Tight lines everyone.
