Hit the bass lake at 830 on Thursday morning...not bad out...the lake looked high to me but it was my first time there. Algae is nice and scummy on the surface. I started out with a floating, 2 inch Rapala minnow stick bait....changed up to a few different small spinnerbaits, then to a coulpe of different colored worms...tried small to medium crankbaits...threw everything but the tacklebox out there....was on my way to leave and stopped at a spot for a few more cast and had a small largemouth roll on it but that was it...looked to be a 1 pounder.

All in all, it was a nice morning..fished until 1:30....saw a guy show up and get in his float tube...didn't see him catch anything though. I'll head back there in a day or two...hopefully this warm weather will help out!!!
