Got to the L-Dock around 8:00 in hopes of getting bit by something. I got a two pole endorsment this year so set up the spinning reel with power bait and used a bait casting reel for bass. Fish jumping everywhere and some big ones too. But what I was amazed to see throughout the morning was HUGE bass roaming around right by the dock. I used jigs and senkos on the plastic side and a few cranks after that. I was throwing it right in their face but they didn't even look at it. I was stumped. I did catch a nice rainbow on chartruese PB and managed to catch my first rock bass on a white and black crank. First time catching anything on the bait caster, so that was cool. Another guy on the dock limited on rainbows in about two hours. Gorgeous morning, good luck.
