This lake is somewhat picturesque! Sits in a coulee, currently has 2 high volume waterfalls dropping a substantial distance into the water. There is a state game area but I had to drive thru an area that had lots of no trespassing signs in order to get to it. Sadly, lots of garbage, jugs of used oil.

I did catch a 13 inch crappie! I saw what seemed like thousands of carp, multiple schools located in multiple locations in the lake.

I wish the fishing was better, I really would like to come back to a lake that looks like this.

The weather was good on friday.

I have fished that lake a couple of times in the past and caught a few largemouth bass. Sorry to hear about all the garbage. Like you say, the lake is quite picturesque. I don't remember the waterfall -- that is a nice shot.

Currently there are 2 waterfalls, lots of water coming in, one waterfall mid lake and the other at the far end from the boat ramp. It was gorgious even with all of the rain saturday morning. Well worth getting soaked in my attempt! I think when the water warms up this would be a hot fishery for pan fish and bass and if you so desire, target carp for a fight of some hefty buggers. I got so close to those things before they spooked, it would have been a archery heyday if I was so equipped. I think they would make good fertilizer. LOL
