Decided to hit up Walker today since I'm waiting for fish lake to clear back up. Weather was partly cloudy, low to mid 60's air temp, and wind was light, small gusts and variable. Water temp was 60F when I left.
Got to the lake around 11 and trolled for an hour. Lost one at the boat and had one other little bite. I don't know why I always start out trolling here as bobber fishing always seems to be the ticket.
After that hour with little success I set up a bobber with a half a crawler and piece of gulp corn 4' below. I tried to stay on the edge of the drop by shore, in around 25' of water. Had my 5 trout and 1 rockbass by 2.
They were biting very lightly today, I missed a lot, so a quick hookset was key.
