We hit the lake about 8am. This was our first time fishing at Bosworth. A guy fishing at the launch advised us to troll up & down the east side between 2 floating docks. Said he always limited there. We tried it for about an hour & caught 2 that were about 8-9". We eventually decided to troll down to the south end of the lake and found success on the south-west side and the west side up to about half way. We tried lots of different lures (many colors), rapalas, Dick Nites, flatfish, wedding rings etc. Everything had a piece of worm on it. We had many strikes, some we were able to bring into the boat and some would hit the lure and fall off right at the boat. A few jumped out of the water in order to shake the hook. Our best results were using flatfish and woolley buggers - black, brown & olive - all with worns. It rained lightly on and off most of the morning and was slightly windy. We both limited in about 3-4 hours of fishing. The biggest fish we caught were about 11".

We had a great morning and will definitely be back!
