My girlfriend had the day off so we went back down to the boathouse (just to see if we couldn't get lucky with a cabela's fish, lol). Got there around 9am and fished til around 6pm. It was a really weird day today because the trout where spread through out the water column (usually this time of year they are within the top 15' around the dock) didn't get the last trout til just before we finally decided to go home. Caught 2 of them on a bobber set to 10 feet and the rest on my perch rig. My perch rig was a small slip bobber set around 30 feet again, since that was working the day before. i hooked 5 trout reeling up very slowing, landing 3. I was chumming today and the perch bite was a little bit better. I caught ten and missed another 15 or so solid hits. I'm thinking if we get a couple days of nice weather the perch bite will be awesome of the dock, they are definitely there.
