I've been out there about 5 times now spending hrs looking for the bass and nothing but trouts or koks.

2nd cast of the day and I had a bass follow and swipe at my lure at boat side. Not a big one, but a bass is a bass. Thought I was going to have an awesome day. But nope, that's it for about an hr. So I switched up to trout. 1st cast with a spinner and trout on! Oh no, trout off!
Caught several small koks. ~7-8"
Then caught a nice trip. 15". Biggest fish for the day.

Then I tried trolling with a egg sinker and flat fish off the back. I dont think it worked well, lol. Nada.

Then I saw 2 guys in a Jonboat at some docks. Saw 1 of them catch a bass. Too far away to tell what it was, but didnt look big. Guessing 13-14". 30 secs later, I see them catcht another 1. This one appears to be big, but fish came off near boat side.

This got me pumped, so I switched back to bass gear. Tossed at a few docks again, and nada. Got a few nibbles from something small. Just as I was about to pack up, FISH ON!!!!!

OMG OMG OMG, it's a SMB. Please stay on. I just want to net it. Not a big one at all. Measured to only 13". But finally found a bass.

All fish were released for someone else to catch.
