Potholes continues to produce some of the best sized walleye in several years. The numbers are not fantastic, we have been catching 8-12 fish per half day trip. The sun has finally decided to shine so hopefully with the warmer weather we will get into the 20+ fish days that are common this time of year. We have also been catching a few nice largemouth while trolling for the walleye. Silver smile baits, three beads, and a nightcrawler trolled at 1-1.2 mph in approx. 15 ft of water have produced about 1/2 the fish. The slow death hook with a nightcrawler troller at the same speeds and depth caught the remaining fish.
