Had a good few hours on the lake. Caught a couple of nice smallies and pulled a Larry the Large mouth out of the weeds. I have fished the lake quite a bit in the last month and I am sorry for the lack of reports. THERE WAS NOTHING TO REPORT!!! Seems to be getting good out there. Anyone have any advise on some good holes. I always end up in the same spot in the south end.

I've not heard of 27 so know nothing. Try Tanwax and those other lakes around it.

I've only fished it once, but pulled a few decent ones on the NE pseudo corner and the northwest shadows in the evening. If I recall, quiet topwater worked well, like floating Rapalas, size 11. Amx is right about Tanwax, but I usually avoid it because of the relative crowdedness. It is the better producer though. My son lived near it. Good luck!

How did you get access to the lake? Is it a private lake?
