Got to the lake at about 9:15 am. There was almost nobody there at the time. The 3 of us started out using rainbow powerbait and chartrusse powerbait. Did not recieve a single bite. Others were using power eggs and caught about 1 or 2 decent sized rainbows. One other person was using a hypodermic needle to inflate worms and caught a nice 15 inch rainbow and 3 or 4 others. He also caught a 10 inch perch and a 10 inch small mouth with the exact same night crawler setup. One other buddy and I recieved no bites using our powerbait. My 3rd buddy nate asked for an inflated worm from the dude and caught 2 good size rainbows in about an hour. Inflated worms seem to be the key at Pine. All in all, was a decent day. Wish i had keepers for myself though.
