Started out around 7:10am and stayed until 10:10am all by the boat ramp. There were a few boats on the lake and each time one came in they had at most two bites and nothing to show for it. There was another guy shore fishing when I showed up and he was there for two hours total with not even a bite. I tried spinner bait, rapala, worms, bobber, rainbow powerbait and green powerbait. Nothing worked for me or anyone else. Another guy, Rick, showed up around 9:20. He needed a big swival with a clip so I gave him one so he could try to cast further out with a bigger weight. Today was a bust as have the previous 3 lakes and have yet to catch a fish all season, but I'm getting leads towards better fishing nearby.

Lk Maraget has been hot this year. Last time I was there we were averaging a fish about every 2 mins trolling flies. I'd recommend there. It also has some shore access , since it sounds like might not have a boat - just don't block the middle of the launch area. When I've been there the bank guys leave after 45-60 mins - I assume limited out since they were reeling in fish.

FYI Langlois doesn't really have any bank access to speak of, and was slow the last time I was there. That day, if I remember right, one of my friends didn't get a single fish.

Try a single flourcesnt orange power eggs, 4# flourocarbon leader and a size 10 single hook. Combined with a little extra stinky that was my go-to when still fishing from the bank.

Good luck
