Well after some debate, the wife and I decided to hire a guide and speed up the learning curve when it comes to walleye fishing. I called Shelby Ross after seeing his video here on Washington Lakes.
Now this is the first time I have ever hired a guide for ANYTHING, and I will say this, my wife and I were NOT dissapointed one bit! I booked a half day trip with Shelby. The wife and I walked away with 15 walleye, the days biggest were a 26" and a 25"!!! I learned what we were doing wrong, where I was going wrong and Shelby was a huge help. If your new to a certain type for fishing, as we were, then hiring someone to speed things up is the only way to go! We have already burned up more gas this spring and last, driving back and forth, with nothing to show for it. The day of fishing and the knowledge was priceless!!!!
