It sure was great to be on the water today after a hiatus. Air temperature about 60 degrees and water temps from 67.3 to 68.4. Little wind and sporadic sun while mostly oevrcast and even a few tiny sprinkles.

I finally came out ahead. I caught and released all largemouth bass - 19 of them. I wanted to make it a nice round twenty and had on a chunker right at the launch ramp but he got off at the boat. Unfortunately a piece of his lip was on my treble, so I think I should get to count him.
Anyway, the largest today was a fat 14.5 inches, next a 13.75", and then 12" and a few 11" and on down to fingerlings. The hot lure today were two different sizes and colors of Salmos. A large shad rap also boated a few.

K. boated a total of 11 fish (two sunfish, the rest LMB) and P. boated 6 (sunfish/LMB).
Saw many bass of all sizes on the move, but couldn't get them to bite even worms.

We fished noon to 6:30pm and enjoyed a lunch ashore as well to call it a perfect day.
