Took my son and grandson for a "day of fishing" so we thought... got to williams at 7:00 fishing by 7:30 It was my sons 24th he said he wanted to go to williams, He has'nt had much luck so far this year so we decided it's kind of a sure thing, williams is the best place to go. we had planned on still fishing for a while untill things slowed down, then drag wedding rings behind the boat for a while to finish limiting out.... That was the plan... Ive heard tree 11 was the place to go. Thats where the locals go. I have fished all over this lake and have done real well, gabe my grandson and I love this lake. trolling with a wedding ring ether green or orange tipped with a worn. or a frog colored flat fish, the action is good all day. with a hit every 15 or 20 min... it never slowed down. with three poles in the water it was non stop, fishing in 23 ft of water a foot or so off the bottom, they were using yellow corn sented power bait I tried worms for about a half hour not so hot, today the power bait was the ticket!!! we had some real hard fighters that never made it to the boat, and a lot to the boat that got off at the boat. the average was 11 to 13 inches. some times its quantity not quality. at 10:00 we did a head count and we had three limits. put the fish on ice and off to silver for some perch....
