Slow. In 34 years of fishing this lake, this is the slowest I've ever had. Oh yea, I've been skunked before
but this is the worst it's been for me and all I've talked to. Must be the weather or something. 3 days fishing and 2 caught, 1 lost at the boat. That is SLOW!!!!!!!!!

Was thinking about coming over for some. Is the lake high or colored up with all the flooding? Hope the weather was good anyway.

Lake is high but going down finally. However it's not that colored. Check this site for river level. This is the river that flows into Palmer when its high.

Will be there next weekend and will see how the bass bite is. Seemed fine Memorial Day weekend, and even caught a couple pigs, along with all the smaller bass. Couple of nice Rainbows caught that weekend as well. Probably the colder than normal weather contributing to the slow bite lately. Guess if the bass bite is slow, we could always head up to Wannacut or Blue for some trout.

Tight lines!!

It was indeed slower than usual, but still managed to catch some decent bass, SM and LM- just no pigs like Memorial Day weekend. Biggest this time maybe went 3lbs. Caught a couple decent LM at Spectacle as well.

Heading back up this weekend though- mid 80's-90 in the forecast!!
