7/6/2011 2:49:00 PMGreat LBM! I was trying some Yamasenko 5" color 176 w/ Texas-Rig... don't know much about bass-fishing, but last week used a yellow-lead-head and a pumpkinseed 6" and 2nd cast landed me ~2.5LB SM Bass on my UL 4' Rod.
What color have you found for an all-around Yamasenko/etc type? Were you Texas-Rigged or what?

7/6/2011 8:45:00 PMThanks, used a 4" brown senko with red glitter, texas rigged. Dont know enough about bass fishing myself, but really looking to learn more about this end of the lake, as I live across the street.

7/7/2011 7:11:00 AMI have seen carp roaming around the lillypads up where the slew starts. There is a dock there, on the west side of the lake, but have no idea who owns it or how you could get on it.

7/7/2011 8:37:00 AMNo public boat ramp on that side of the lake. You might try criagslist to see if a local angler would let you launch from thier property. Thanks for the tip on the carp, thats where I have been looking, so I will be sure to continue the hunt!
