7/10/2011 7:00:00 PMImo, this lake has been consistently over-planted with Kokanee fry. The plant has been 50,000 every year. If they cut that in half just one year I think the food source would be able to rebuild to a healthier level for the fish, not to mention the fish would be bigger. Yes, I understand this could hurt the bass fishery which is boosted on the fry plants.
I am not trying to steer anyone clear here either, as I plan on fishing it later this summer. Thanks for the report.
