Stayed the weekend at Colonial Creek Campground, and fished all day on Saturday. I had no luck whatsoever. In the morning I tried the fishing pier, and tried to get my bait into the deep channels that run through that area.

From there I tried the bank next to the pier for about an hour, still no luck.

After a meal break I headed over toward the highway bride and tried to fish the South side next to the bridge in the channel. They must have been letting water out because the current was strong enough to drift my 1/2 oz. sinker under the bridge.

I then tried the Northend of the bridge, into the cove near the boathouse, with still no luck. I even switched to a Wedding Ring for awhile before a snag took it. I switched to Powerbait for awhile with no luck.

Eventually I ended up back at the fishing pier in the late afternoon and early evening. I saw one person trolling flies catch and release something. Other than that one troller the only other thing catching was an Osprey, and even those birds had a hard time catching.
