7/20/2011 3:34:00 PMI don't mean to be a killjoy, but by law we aren't allowed to release, and keep catching beyond our legal limit if we're using bait.
If I catch one and it is released, that counts as one fish for me.

7/20/2011 9:21:00 PMNot sure in the regs where it says you have to keep all fish caught with bait, but it does say trout caught with bait whether kept or released are counted towards the limit. If you fished before and after 12am then your limit would be 20 kokes for each of you. Guys please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks!

7/23/2011 9:43:00 AMMy sentiments exactly. The daily limit of Kokes on Loon is 10. The daily limit of trout is 5. Maybe there are other lakes that only allow 5 Kokes (Westside freshwater lakes,) but here on the East side (Loon Lake), the daily limit is 10. When your jigging, not trolling, you do this in the dark, and often times span a 2 day period. That's when you can have a real BONK fest.
