It's been pretty slow for me lately, but after trolling for a few hours with just a few light bites, I got lucky with this 22" bright Cutthroat.
What a fun catch.

Yeah, for Samammish that is a nice size cutt. (-:

TravisB, the past few weeks have been 1 or 2 fish in 3 hours' trolling. I'm new to Sammamish, so I'm sure the more experienced would do better, even now. The ones I am catching are starting to put some weight back on after the spawning spring.

That's a pig for Sammamish! How deep are you finding fish right now?

My hits are still quite shallow at 2 colors, or less, of leaded line. No fish-finder..... just me and my folding boat.
Maybe I should head up to the north end, it just takes me a little time with the 6hp Johnson.
My Johnson may be small, but dependable. :-)
