After a fun (long) night of partying and camping with good friends we got a bit of a late start due to the brown bag flu! lol Hit the water at 6:00am. Luckily out campsite was inside of the Shannon Creek cove so we just motored out 50 feet and dropped our gear then started heading north. Took about 15 minutes for our first bite and from there we nailed 6 fish in rapid succession including 1 double hookup and lots of hot fish airing out! Finished with a 2 person limit by 7:30am. Person number 3 couldn't make it out of the tent and missed all the fun! Great morning of catching for sure. 50/50 dodger, smile blades, and pro-cured prawns for the win. The big fish pictured went 7.2 lbs

Ran into rseas and Natetreat both on the water. Sounds like MarkFromSea was out as well, but we missed running into him. Nice to meet you Randy and Nate!

The picture is just fine, I flipped my laptop on it's side! LOL Great report! I gotta get a better map or memory, I thought Shannon was on the north shore, end or the road.......... That's ok, I'll look it up again.

ok how are you hooking up your hooks matt? i use the exact same thing but tend to lose over half my fish. Once their on, their on but i miss ALOT of super hard takedowns. Huge bite, line trips, hookset... gone. Im using tandem 1/0 sickle hooks really close with shrimp tail on top hook. ANy suggestions?
