This is my fourth time to this lake. Other visits include 7/20/2010, 10/26/10, 5/10/11. The total amount of fish I have caught on this lake comes to 1 S.M. bass (12 inches). Each time I fish in the morning and the evening. during the afternoon the fishfinder has them way down in the lake and practically no action. Even in the cooler times, the small amount of fish that there are on the finder never seem to strike. There are no big fish in this lake. Nothing seems to be over 12 inches. there were other fishermen that were on the lake this morning at 7:30. All were in different parts of the lake. some trolling with flat fish and wedding rings, some using senko and berkley gulp, some using Powerbait, one using spinners. we all came in at 1030 which was quite funny. Everyone agreed after talking that this lake is bare. The others have fished it a couple times too and have ended up empty handed as well.

Pros:-beautiful lake, usually nobody there
Con:-empty lake, childrens camp during midday in summer and they come into the lake make a hell of a lot of noise, Logs in the water near the boat launch which requires lots of weaving, NO FISH.

yeah i was there with a friend about a week ago and i only had 2 hits at 27' using my down rigger . after that we started fishing by the bank with a worm and drop shot style and after an hour or so my partner caught a nice 15" hold over . and that was it ,it seems to really have slowed down .

Yes, nice photos -- nice flat Rapala water. I have fished that lake several times in the past. No big fish -- my best being only 13 inches. Noticed the target fish was smallmouth bass - was unaware that there were any smallmouth in that lake.

Don't forget about the Kokanee! I've fished Langlois about once every couple weeks since opening and have limited out on rainbows every time using Yarn grubs, Power bait, Rapala minnows, and/or 50/50 Dick Nights. I will be going sometime this week, just got a large batch of rubber worms in for the LM. I'll post asap.
