went out to fan and fished the back bay. Perch are everywhere in there and pretty good sized ones. Caught a couple small largemouth and saw and heard of good crappie fishing. Mainly used red wedding rings and white jigs tiped with worm. Pretty much a perch every cast and the larger ones seemed to be more in the middle of the back bay where it was deeper but you could still see weeds every now and then. Lots of fun, biggest perch were 11 to 12 inches, and i had a buddy that fished there earlier this summer and was consistently catching 13 inchers.

WOW!!!! I've got to get out there. I've fished foe perch for 50+ years I've got a few 13' perch. Were you in a boat and how big were the crappie?

we were in a boat, we didnt catch any crappie, only saw them in the water and they looked to be 9 or 10 inches. and we probably got five 10 to 11 inchers in about 15 to 20 minutes. Obviously with perch fishing you get a lot of small ones but we reeled in a lot of 9 to 10 inchers and then some bigger like i said before. dont know where my buddy caught those 13 inchers, i would guess the same spot we were
