9/7/2011 11:39:00 PMHave you tried top water rapala's there? I had great luck last year in August-October there on top water and using diving minnows too. Perch color in size 5-7 seemed to work well. Lots of action and fished in afternoons until dark. I was getting 30-60 bass every time out there last year. Haven't made it out there this year. Hope those tips help. good luck out there.

9/8/2011 8:16:00 AMhave not tried a top water there yet this year. thanks for the info. I will give that a try. I have noticed the bass are become more active lately at howard. things should pick up with the forecasts being warm for awhile. thanks Jamesb I will go get those and give them some shots
