On the water at 0600 trolling at 0.5 to 1.3 in 80' water with down rigger at 30' finishing out with four in the boat. Left by 0930 to beat all the incoming boats for a great hot clear and sunny day. There were a half dozen other boats around fishing. I was getting hits about every 45 minutes but there was another guy that was landing fish about ever 20 minutes. He had three boys and they were having a hoot of a time which was good to see. The wife joined me this am and I finished out my season as I prepare for upcoming hunting activities. This was by far my best year on American lake for Kokanee as I finally have it dialed in and am expermiting with other types of lures and stuff. A fun time and thanks for the input from those who helped answer my questions. My buddy is now very interested in fishing American Lake. Have a safe Labor Day Weekend to all.
