just got back from spain not to long ago and my sleep schudule is all messed up so fished the better part of the morning and sunset today. early in the morning the bite was on but nothing but dinks. late in the morning me and my dad both picked up a bass bout 1-1 /2 pounds on a rattletrap by a rocky shoreline.later in the day I had football practice so had to head back in for a bit...after football practice decided to go out and fish the sunset. very bad idea. wind was blowing hard from the NW so we had to fish the deep docks around the east side of mercer island just to get out of the wind. more bass in the dink-1 1/2pound range were caught but nothing over 2 pounds. late at night when the wind finally settled down a bit we went out and fished 1 of our favorite spots. my dad pulled up 1 bass slightly over 2 pounds but the picture didn't turn out well. although it wasn't a great day of fishing felt good to get a fishing pole back in my hands.
