I went to lake cassidy for the first time today. Fished from noon to 4:00pm. I trolled the edges of the lillies with a wedding ring spinner. It was very slow fishing. After an hour and a half I finaly got a bite and fish on, Small mouth bass. After a while I switched over to a trout hook with a 4" power bait grub yellow and green. I trolled it thru the middle of the lake and Fish on, my first Crappie. The crappie loved the power grub, landed three more on the way back to the launch. It was a nice day, a little slow on the action but ended well. I wanted to hook a largemouth, maybee nextime.

1 Smallmouth Bass

4 Crappie

Huh, dont know what happened with the pics. One was of a large Crappie, the other of a huge dragonfly that hung out on my boat for a while. I dont see where to edit the photos?
