Got the raft on the water by 7:45am, targeting bass with my buddy. Tried various plastics and jigs, but it quickly became apparent that rapalas were the ones getting the most takes so we both used jointed raps most of the time.(My buddy using silver, and I with a perch pattern)

We spent all day on the water (long work weeks, we needed it!) and had almost 40 LMB (2 sunfish, too) to the boat total. This was our most productive outing ever (we've only been fishing consistently for about a year) so we were really stoked. More than once we both had fish on (also caught one while on the phone with my wife, hehe)

Most of the fish were about the same size, just little guys but we did manage a few early on that were getting into decent sized fish territory.
