Work and life certainly has gotten in the way for an entire month! Finally got to the lake today and fished 12-4pm. Weather was calm, 55 degrees until the rain hit. The final two hours we fished in the rain, but it made everything really peaceful and beautiful actually. We also had the lake to ourselves.

We knew we didn't have time nor weather to spend a full day, so we didn't get to hit all our normal fishing holes. But we did manage to boat 15 LMB. None were of any size, except K's. It was a nice fat 14" caught on a Rick Clunn deep diving lure while on a troll. I landed 6, K. 5 and P. 4.

Slow, but still a great day including a hot dog picnic ashore. Hopefully, we'll squeeze in a few more trips before the lake closes at the end of October.
