Saw a break in the rain on the Weather Channel and was at Alder at 0700. Rocky Point gate locked and the ramp didn't look good for launching. Went to main park and on the water 0800. Rain had stopped and wind was light. Rigged up my favorite wedding ring with scented shoepeg, Hot Wings, and a planer. Marked fish between 13 and 20 feet in 35 to 50 feet of water in the east end of the bay to the left of the ramp. The first 7 kokes came aboard within an hour and stopped. Changed to a pink Cha Cha to finish the limit. One 12", two 10", and seven 11". Headed home by 11am.

What kind of shape were they in? Were they starting to turn color due to spawning? Glad to hear you limited, most lakes are slowing down.bob r

I sent a pic, but it apparently didn't go thru. They looked like the last batch about a month ago. No discoloration. Some were starting to get hooked jaws and larger teeth.
