Alder Park gates opened at 0800. Lake down another three feet, but still a good rock base to launch. Never got out of the area between the two docks! Kokes hit consistantly and boated 10 twelve inchers between 0820 and 1000. Two guys in a 12-footer launched 10 minutes before me and left at 0930! All were between 13 and 18 feet deep in 30+ feet of water. It was crazy, got "fish on" before I got all the line out. Same setup as my other posts: chart/red double hook wedding ring w/ herring/anise soaked shoepeg, Hot Wings in char/red, and Pink Lady planer. You don't even need a downrigger or Gulp maggots - corn on both hooks.

Forgot to take pics; got in too much of a hurry to get to Sportco and get home to cook kokes for dinner. Wrapped in foil with lemon, basil, pepper and butter, then on the grill. Burp! About half of them had no color change and the rest looked like "pale" rainbows.

Not sure about a 19'. Saw a 14' aluminum launch. When I rolled my 8' Livingston in there was about 1 to 1 1/2' of water within 3' of shore. A couple of other guys launched with trailers and didn't seem to have any trouble. Personally, I would try. What have you got to lose? Also, the Ranger told me that there has been a lot of fishing activity every day for the last few weeks. Any wonder why? The locals must be tight-lipped!
