met up with Gort and The Urban Anlger at the 65th street dock, Green lake. Arrived a little after 0700. Beautiful sunrise, water was like glass with a little fog on top. Not really any fish rising at that time. Fished from the dock with Gort for a short bit using a worm under a float. I then went out in the tube. Dragged a worm slowly behind the float, then switched to a bead head Olive Wooly Bugger. Saw one giant fish which was likely a carp come out of the water just past where my gear was being trolled. Such a tease.
Back to the dock to fish with Urban Angler. Through the gold Kastmaster, had one hit. Was nice to see large schools of G. Browns swimming about the dock. Of course the lake is planted with Browns, but I suppose they are reproducing, I don't think they are stocking it with 2-5" browns.
Cold.. Cold... Cold.... No fish for me.
