Fished rock 12/07/2011 8am-3pm.

Wanted to target Kookanee just to see what happened but after 5 hrs of nothing but browns and rainbows I gave in and started chasing bigger fish. Today was very interesting, caught more browns than bows and the browns were larger than they have been. Hard to say how many fish caught. Guess is 30 browns 20 bows. Long lining large plugs was the ticket for larger fish. One brown 5-6 lbs several others 2-3 lbs 2 large bows around 3 lbs. has the lake been planted lately? caught a brown and a bow 4 and 6 inches? Most fish were cookie cutter 15-18 inch. For three trips in a row the bows in this lake have loved my downrigger offerings, usually going airborne before poping the clip off. All fish released to catch another day.
