12/19/2011 11:12:00 AMI bass fish American alot. When fishing plastics on that lake all you can do is wade through the multitude of perch and rockbass bites, hoping for a smallmouth somewhere in between. Great job, and, this time of the year, well deserved! Congrats.

Some guy catches one smallmouth and all us crazy bass fishermen start dusting off the boats, when the only thing that will probably be caught is a good case of hypothermia. No wonder my bass fishing buddy moved to Florida. He now bass fishes year around, and, during our winter months, rudely reminds me of it every time he calls. Last call he told me he's about a month away from spawning season.....Rude!!!!
