Fished with guide Mike Carney using plastic lizards cast among the various docks and structures on the north end of the lake. The day started quickly as I briefly had a fish on my first cast. Mike soon after caught a nice 2 lb smallmouth in the same area. Things slowed way down after that, until we again started hitting fish about 11am. Over the next 4 hrs we caught 7 bass, the largest about 2 1/2-3 lbs. We missed several other hook sets. The fish seemed to move out from the docks as the weather warmed up and more were caught casting out away from shore rather than to shore. All and all I thought it was pretty good fishing.
