Took Al out for his birthday fishing trip for a few hours of Mack fishing. Went for a big fish, but it just didn't happen. We still got a nice pile and had a great time. It was one of the colder mornings of the year with the morning low about 15F or so. With the propane heat and now wind, it was reasonably comfortable unless you exposed your hands. Mack's Cha Cha Squidder was hot at the beginning of our foray, but the Ace Hi Fly caught up towards the end. Remember when fishing ultra deep to shorten up your set backs to avoid tangling on the turns. Also, remember to stay way clear of the Scotty Downrigger handles with your bulky winter clothes to prevent polluting the lake with your downrigger balls... It was a glorious sunrise
