We got into some Real Nice Laketrout today!!!!!The Ace Hi-Fly did the work for me Again. We found Fish in the Trench and Mack Bar. The Trench Produced in depths from 150 to 220ft, and Found a couple bigger fish on Mack Bar both weighing over 10lbs in depths of 135 to 150ft.
The trick for me today, that when I saw fish on the Sonar I slowed the trolling speed to a crawl for a few seconds,then picked my speed back up. I do think that this technique triggered the instinct of the fish to strike at a wounded bait...Everybody be very Careful on the Docks here at Chelan. As the water Level drops the docks are getting steeper which makes for a very slick surface with Ice build up. I do recommend bringing shoe Cleets for the dock Walk!!!Tight Lines To All and Be Safe!!!!
