actually, this isn't much of a fishing report, as we only had lines in the water for about an hour. this is the first time i've put my boat in the water this year, so it was more of a shake down run than anything else. i ran the main motor and checked out the new bilge pump and a few other modifications, then headed over around the aerator and trolled a bit using the kicker motor. we fished without using the downriggers as i discovered my depth finder was on the blink. didn't get so much as a bump, but that was ok. i managed to get most of the kinks out of the boat and discovered what my next investment is gonna be. there were only two other boats on the water and they said they were doing the same thing. water temp was 41* and the air temp wasn't much higher. nice to be on the water again, but no fish...
