Today was opening day. Headed out to Downs lake in Spokane County but had no luck from 6:30 to 9:00. One guy said he got 6 bass around 1.5lbs with one being around 3lbs but we got skunked. Then we headed out to Badger Lake. 10 minutes into our trolling, my buddy hooked a fish. After that we got about 10 more small ones. We hit the end of the lake (to the West). We found a good hole and my buddy pulled at least 8 rainbows out over 14 inches with a couple bordering 17. All and all I caught 9 and my buddy caught 19. Yah, I know.. I got outfished hehe. If you get a chance, Badger or Williams should be producing good fish. We were using flies. We worked them from the bank out about 20 feet and also trolling about 15 feet from the bank. Good Luck!!
